Holton-Arms School

We are pleased to announce the outcome of our search for the Head of School of the Holton-Arms School in Bethesda, Maryland. From an exceptionally strong pool of candidates, Penny B. Evins has been selected for this important role, effective summer 2023.

Penny brings deep experience and expertise in independent school leadership, most recently serving as Head of the Collegiate School in Richmond, Virginia, and before that the Head of St. Paul’s School for Girls in Baltimore, Maryland. Her past leadership spans across lower, middle, and upper school divisions as well as different departments. Penny currently holds trustee positions on numerous boards and is active in both her high school and college alumni networks.

Penny earned an Med in Counselor Education and a BA in English from the University of Virginia, and is a graduate of Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, Connecticut.
