Director of Finance and Administration Greater Portland Immigrant Welcome Center | Portland, Maine The Greater Portland Immigrant Welcome Center (GPIWC) seeks nominations and applications for the position of Director, Finance and Administration. Reporting to the Executive Director, Reza Jelali, the Director will provide financial and administrative leadership in a fast-paced and growing immigrant-led non-profit located in Portland, Maine. This position will have primary responsibility for the day-to-day management of all financial and administrative functions, including accounting, grants management, IT, facilities, and human resources, for the Center, enabling the Executive Director to focus on strategic issues, community engagement, and program delivery. This is a full-time role located in Portland, Maine. The Greater Portland Immigrant Welcome Center was established as a hub of collaboration that strengthens the immigrant community through language acquisition, economic integration and civic engagement with a vision of helping Greater Portland’s large immigrant community to fully reach its community, societal, and economic potential. The GPIWC offers programs such as: iEnglish Project (language learning lab); Food and Nutrition Programs; Citizenship and Civic Engagement; Immigrant Business Hub; and the recently established Women Lead.
