David Ferguson joined Isaacson, Miller as an Associate in 2017. Prior to joining the firm, David was in the doctoral program in sociology at the University of Chicago, where he successfully defended his dissertation on the sociological construction of race in the Jim Crow South. While at Chicago, he worked as a graduate assistant in the Office of Minority Student Affairs, creating and coordinating programs for graduate students of color. In addition, he served as president of the Minority Graduate Student Association and worked at the Center for the Study of Race, Politics and Culture, curating an interdisciplinary, academic workshop with race as its organizing principle.
