Kennedy specializes in advancement and communications searches in higher education, academic medicine, and arts and culture. Since becoming an associate in 2013, she has recruited development leaders for Isaacson, Miller clients such as Duke University, the University at Buffalo, and the Peabody Essex Museum. She has also helped build a strategic partnership with Washington University in St. Louis, placing numerous professionals in its alumni and development programs. In addition to her work in the development field, Kennedy has recruited chief communications officers for leading institutions including the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, Brown University, and the College of the Holy Cross. Earlier in her career at Isaacson, Miller, she was a search coordinator for the advancement practice, providing logistical and administrative support for the search process and assisting the practice lead with management and operations. Prior to joining our firm, Kennedy worked at the University of Chicago Law School and recruited English teachers for a network of private schools in Spain. Outside of work, Kennedy volunteers as a medical advocate and counselor with the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center. She is glad to be able to support and help strengthen civic sector organizations through her work both at and outside of our firm.
