Grace Zakim joined Isaacson, Miller in January 2016 and specializes in advancement searches across the civic sector. She has recruited vice presidents for development for clients such as Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, the Institute for Clinical and Economic Review, and her alma mater, Kenyon College. Grace has also helped build strategic partnerships with the advancement offices of Dartmouth College, Boston College, and Washington University in St. Louis, recruiting several professionals to each institution. Before joining the firm’s advancement team, Grace was a general associate and also worked on searches in academic medicine. She brings broad development knowledge to her search work and previous professional experience in grateful patient and health care advocacy fundraising. Most recently, Grace worked in major gifts at Massachusetts General Hospital. Grace joined our firm with the goal of strengthening institutions of higher learning and mobilizing organizations at the forefront of social change. Outside of work, she serves as vice board chair of Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund of Massachusetts and supports a number of activist causes in her community.
