Grace specializes in advancement searches across the civic sector. Since joining Isaacson, Miller in January 2016, she has helped build strategic partnerships with Dartmouth College, Boston College, and Washington University in St. Louis. Grace has also recruited the inaugural chief advancement officer at the Lenfest Institute for Journalism, as well as cabinet-level positions for nationally ranked, small liberal arts colleges including her alma mater, Kenyon College. Grace brings broad professional fundraising experience to her search work, having served a range of organizations, from grassroots coalitions to institutions with complex systems and billion-dollar budgets. Most recently, she worked as a development officer at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she collaborated with physicians to cultivate major Cancer Center donors and managed volunteer leadership committees. Grace has also held development roles with healthcare advocacy organizations, including Maternity Care Coalition and Health Law Advocates. Grace joined our firm with the goal of strengthening institutions of higher learning and mobilizing organizations at the forefront of social change. Outside of work, she serves on the board of directors of Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund of Massachusetts and volunteers with the Lenny Zakim Fund.
