Since joining Isaacson, Miller in 2016, Alanya has worked on a diverse collection of searches. She brings a range of experience with nonprofit organizations, having previously worked as a consultant addressing nonprofit marketing, strategy, leadership, and technology infrastructure challenges. In addition to her consulting work, Alanya spent several years at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), a foreign policy think tank. There, she held multiple roles with the goal of advancing CFR's mission to build a robust and diverse membership of accomplished individuals committed to broadening the understanding of U.S. foreign policy. Earlier in her career, she worked on community development and human rights initiatives in the Philippines. Alanya sits on the board of the Breast Cancer Imperative and consults (pro bono) for several Bay Area nonprofits. She brings a passion for advancing underrepresented groups and a personal approach to her work—both inside and outside the office.
