Sherlene joined Isaacson, Miller as an associate in 2017. She brings with her a wealth of higher education experience, having most recently worked at Howard University. There, she served as a project manager in the Office of Academic Searches, focusing on cabinet roles, deans, and executive directors across a wide range of functional and academic portfolios. Throughout her career, Sherlene has taken on a range of search responsibilities, including oversight of all dimensions of search administration and logistics. She also has experience bridging the gap between institutions and external executive search consultants, including Isaacson, Miller, and has provided training in search policies and process to numerous search committees. Earlier in her career, she spent 13 years teaching middle school in New York City. Sherlene holds Canadian-American dual citizenship and is fluent in French. She is also a proud member of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society.
