Andrew Lee


Andy brings to his practice more than 20 years of successful leadership in the nonprofit, government, and technology sectors. He draws upon his expertise in education reform, healthcare, the environment, and consulting services to identify forward-thinking leaders and help his clients make informed human capital decisions. A member of the Isaacson, Miller team since 2017, Andy has spent his entire career aiding mission-driven organizations. His prior roles include managing the growth strategy for Agile Mind, a technology firm focused on improving effectiveness of teachers and engaging students in their own learning. He served as chief of staff in the Office of Innovation and Improvement at the U.S. Department of Education, where he launched programs to improve the educational and developmental outcomes of youth in distressed communities. He also has philanthropic experience, having led public education, healthcare, and corporate volunteerism projects at CityBridge Foundation. A first-generation child of Puerto Rican parents, Andy has long been committed to improving access to quality education. He is active on the PTAs at his children's schools and on the leadership committee of Sitar Arts Center, bringing arts education and leadership development to low-income families. Andy was also an Aspen Institute Pahara fellow and has served on the boards of directors of two public charter schools in Washington, DC.
