Jennifer Carignan

Internal Recruitment Manager


Jennifer became Isaacson, Miller’s internal recruitment manager in August 2018. She previously served as a senior associate in the firm, focusing on presidential, provost, and dean searches in academic and student affairs, as well as leadership searches for environment and conservation nonprofit organizations. She placed presidents for Isaacson, Miller clients Dickinson College, Converse College, and DePauw University; the chief student affairs officers at Colby College and Davidson College; the dean for academic affairs at Bowdoin College; the chief scientist at the World Wildlife Fund; and the vice president of international environment at the Pew Charitable Trusts.

Jennifer's past work includes serving as a career advisor at American University and as an associate manager for research at the nonprofit, nonpartisan Partnership for Public Service. She has additional experience implementing education and outreach initiatives at higher education institutions, delivering training sessions to career counselors, and volunteering as an English-as-a-second-language teacher.

Jennifer earned a BA from Susquehanna University and an MA from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver.
