Cassandra Gallese

Cassandra brings a decade of experience in various sectors of public health and international aid, both in the US and abroad. She began her career in community health in New York, managing school-based health programs and eventually transitioning to communications and resource mobilization. Internationally, she has worked in refugee resettlement in Kenya, on HIV/AIDS service expansion in Ethiopia, and served as a Global Health Corps fellow in Uganda’s Kyangwali Refugee Settlement. She also has experience responding to active humanitarian emergencies in Uganda and Tanzania. Cassandra holds a BA in anthropology from the University of Chicago and an MPH from Columbia University.
