Drexel University has selected Dr. Paul Jensen to be the next Dean of LeBow College of Business.

Dr. Jensen has served as Interim Dean of LeBow College since spring of 2017. During his tenure, Dr. Jensen increased support for research and developed and won support for implementing a three-year strategic plan that leverages faculty research strengths and stronger industry relationships in a business solutions context.

Prior to his role of Interim Dean, Dr. Jensen served eight years as Associate Dean of Academic Programs, during which he promoted and supported substantial improvements in both undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as in executive education and experiential learning. As Director of the doctoral program for six years, he increased both enrollment and program support. He also led efforts that resulted in the creation of the Dornsife Office for Experiential Learning, and over seven years guided the expansion of student projects focused on solving real-world business problems. In 2016, he served as Interim Director of the Center of Hospitality and Sport Management, guiding the restructuring of its programs.

Prior to his academic career, Jensen worked as an engineer in the power generation division of General Electric. He received his bachelor of arts in economics and a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from Syracuse University and a doctorate in economics from Pennsylvania State University.
