Director, Ocean Program Washington, DC

The Summit Foundation (, a private family foundation founded by Roger and Vicki Sant, seeks a Director of its $2.5 million Ocean Program.

Currently focused on the Mesoamerican Reef , the program pursues the protection of marine biodiversity, ecosystem health, and sustainable development in the Caribbean drainage portions and territorial waters of Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, and Honduras. The new Director will continue this program over the near term while bringing fresh perspective to its activities and strategies and directing its evolution over the longer-term. Candidates must bring demonstrated leadership and earned respect in the oceans field as well as a deep commitment to Summit’s values, principles, and mission.
