Chief Development Officer Phoenix, AZ

Phoenix Art Museum named Nicole Rivet Chief Development Officer, effective January 15, 2019. Ms. Rivet joined the museum from Stellar Philanthropic Consulting, an advancement consulting firm she founded and led.

Prior to consulting, Ms. Rivet was Vice President of National Development at Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) Foundation, where she built a brand-new, national-level major gifts and corporate grants program. She also helped secure CHI’s first national-level private foundation partnerships. Ms. Rivet previously was at Colorado College, where she was Director of Corporate, Foundation & Agency Relations and served as the college’s major gifts officer for the Washington, DC metro area. During her tenure at the college, she also participated as a key advancement leader in the college’s Funding the Vision Campaign, securing six- to eight-figure gifts in support of key campaign initiatives. Earlier in her career, Ms. Rivet held fundraising roles at Defenders of Wildlife, Emerson College, Babson College, and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Ms. Rivet earned a bachelor of arts degree in art from Middlebury College and a master of education degree in English from the University of Virginia.
