Recruiting exceptional leaders for mission-driven organizations.

President Manomet, MA

Manomet has named Elizabeth (Lizzie) Schueler as its President, effective April 20, 2020.

Manomet is an esteemed nonprofit organization with programs reaching from Maine to the Arctic to South America. Over the course of its 50-year history, it has evolved from an internationally respected bird observatory and research station to a multi-faceted organization working on conservation and sustainability across a number of platforms. Grounded in high-quality science, Manomet works across sectors to address environmental challenges.

Schueler joins Manomet from the World Wildlife Fund, where over the last 11+ years she has been an increasingly central leader in the Market Transformation group. This group works at the nexus of conservation science and markets, with a focus on commodities that are driving detrimental environmental change. Her career spans the non-profit, corporate, and government sectors, with a particular emphasis on building and sustaining mission driven public/private partnerships.

Karen Wilcox led this search with Chloe Kanas.
