Assistant Vice President for Development Bowling Green, OH

Bowling Green State University (BGSU) has named Robin Stock as its next assistant vice president for development, effective January 24, 2020. In this role, Ms. Stock is responsible for leading the major gift team of unit-based and planned giving fundraisers, along with the development and execution of major and principal gift strategies and solicitations to increase support from alumni and friends for the Changing Lives for the World campaign and beyond. Reporting to the vice president for university advancement, Ms. Stock will also serve as a liaison to the BGSU Foundation Development Committee.

Ms. Stock possesses more than 16 years of non-profit development experience, most recently at Ohio University where she served as the senior director of development for the Scripps College of Communication before being promoted into the role of executive director of development for major giving. As executive director, Ms. Stock led a team of major gift fundraisers across eight schools and units; partnered closely with the deans and academic leaders to develop and articulate giving priorities; and collaborated closely with colleagues across the development operation. Ms. Stock’s early career consists of development roles at various non-profits in Columbus, Ohio including Hope Street Kids, Wexner Heritage Village, and City Year.

Ms. Stock earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and applied communications and an MBA in non-profit organizations, both from Franklin University.
