Executive Director, Goucher Prison Education Partnership Baltimore, MD

Goucher College has selected Eliza Cornejo as the next Executive Director of the Goucher Prison Education Partnership (GPEP).

Eliza served as the Acting Executive Director of GPEP beginning in Fall 2021 and has more than seven years of experience with GPEP. She has supported GPEP staff in providing a sustainable, rigorous education and has worked closely with former students upon release as they navigate job and school applications. Before her tenure as Acting Executive Director, Eliza served as GPEP’s Director of College Operations. Eliza oversaw all student- and faculty-facing operations in that role, including relations with the prisons, class planning, and faculty recruitment and support. Eliza is a former Baltimore County Public Schools teacher and a proud Goucher alumna with a Masters in the Art of Teaching.
