Recruiting exceptional leaders for mission-driven organizations.

President & CEO Washington, DC

The AAPI Victory Fund seeks a creative, strategic, and energetic progressive leader to serve as its next President and CEO. As Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders represent one of the fastest-growing groups in the country, their potential as a political force continues to remain largely untapped and uncultivated. Given the continued demographic shifts the country will continue to undergo in the years ahead, the political landscape will surely change along with it and the AAPI community has the opportunity to play an important role in shaping the outcome that could define political reality for a new era. The AAPI Victory Fund seeks to play a leading role in this effort. To do so it will require a President and CEO that has the ambition, resilience, and political savvy to mobilize the AAPI community to build political power for progressive change.

As a Super PAC focused on advocating for issues important to the AAPI community and mobilizing the AAPI community to the ballot box, the Victory Fund has started to play a key role developing the infrastructure and strategies that will effectively harness the AAPI community’s political power. Through donor cultivation, candidate support, and strategic partnerships and collaborations with allied organizations, the Victory Fund has established a strong foundation from which to build upon. Going forward, the Victory Fund seeks to develop greater organizational capacities and resources to play a greater and influential role in shaping the politics of the AAPI community.

The President and CEO reports to the Victory Fund’s eight-member board of directors and is responsible for setting the organization’s strategic direction, fundraising, and financial health, and serves as the chief representative. The Victory Fund seeks candidates who bring deep knowledge, networks and/or passion for AAPI issues and the world of politics. Critical to the next President and CEO’s success will be how well they are able to establish trust and respect with the broader AAPI community; especially in the political and advocacy spaces.
