He has played a key role in presidential searches at both public and private universities and has helped recruit senior leaders in healthcare and throughout the academic enterprise, including deans and vice presidents at large research universities, regional colleges, and liberal arts institutions. In addition to his higher education practice, Joe has supported searches for prominent conservation groups, research institutes, and international policy think tanks. This broad perspective informs his understanding of the intersection between academia and mission-driven organizations working on global challenges.Before joining Isaacson, Miller, Joe held positions in the admission offices of Stanford University and the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he developed expertise in enrollment strategy and organizational operations. He is a graduate of Stanford’s Manager Academy and is an active volunteer with several Southern California non-profit organizations.Joe holds a BA from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and EdM from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
