Isaacson, Miller is pleased to announce the appointment of Craig Gravitz, JD, as Executive Director of PCI Ventures at the University of Pennsylvania’s Penn Center for Innovation.

Gravitz joins PCI from the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA‑H), where he served as Founder and Director of the Office of Commercialization and was the agency’s first employee. As part of ARPA‑H’s leadership team, he played a central role in building the new federal agency, establishing its commercialization strategy, and shaping its early organizational and programmatic direction.

Prior to ARPA‑H, Gravitz spent more than a decade at the U.S. Department of Defense’s Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). During his tenure, he founded and led the DLA Innovation Team and Commercial Technology Accelerator, supporting the transition of early‑stage technologies and working with startups and internal stakeholders on technology maturation, private investment, and market expansion. Earlier in his career, Gravitz served as a Senior Contracting Officer at DLA, where he managed large contract portfolios and acquisition strategy.

Gravitz earned his Juris Doctor from Villanova University School of Law. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from The George Washington University.
