Ian B.K. Martin, MD, MBA

We are pleased to announce that Southern Illinois University (SIU) has selected Dr. Ian B.K. Martin to serve as its next Dean and Provost of SIU School of Medicine and CEO of SIU Medicine, effective September 1.

Currently the System Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine and Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Dr. Martin brings extensive experience in academic medicine, faculty development, clinical operations, and health system leadership. An accomplished physician-leader, he has held senior leadership roles at both the Medical College of Wisconsin and West Virginia University and is widely recognized for his collaborative approach and commitment to advancing medical education, research, and patient care.
