The Surdna Foundation, Member, Board of Directors

In November 2025, Gary Hall joined the Board of Directors and the investment committee of the Surdna Foundation, one of the nation’s oldest family foundations. Surdna’s mission is to foster “sustainable communities in the United States — communities guided by principles of social justice and distinguished by healthy environments, inclusive economies, and thriving cultures.”

Currently a partner and co-president of Siebert Williams Shank & Co., LLC, the nation’s largest minority-owned investment bank, Hall also serves as a principal and member of the investment committee for the Clear Vision Fund, Siebert’s private debt impact fund. He is a partner in American Triple I Partners, an infrastructure private equity firm that focuses on Siebert’s transportation, energy, knowledge and information systems, and smart city investments. 

Hall’s distinguished 35-year career spans investment banking, private equity, law, and government service, including a White House Fellowship, as well as experience on numerous governing boards. He received a BBA in Finance from Howard University and JD from the University of Notre Dame.
