Brendon Jobs, M.S.Ed. | Director of the Upper School William Penn Charter School, Director of the Upper School We are pleased to announce that The William Penn Charter School has appointed Brendon Jobs as Director of Upper School, effective July 1, 2026. Jobs brings nearly two decades of experience across public and independent schools and was selected for his thoughtful leadership, deep alignment with Quaker values, and ability to cultivate strong, inclusive communities.He joins Penn Charter from Abington Friends School, where he served as Director of Upper School for five years. During his tenure, he led initiatives focused on curriculum development, student well-being, restorative practices, and experiential learning, contributing to a 7% net increase in Upper School enrollment over four years. His leadership emphasized both academic rigor and student-centered practices, strengthening community and engagement across the division. In addition to his work as a school leader, Brendon teaches and mentors emerging educators at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education.Jobs earned an M.S.Ed. from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education and a BA in political science from Columbia University.Katie Rockman and Tiffany Weber led this search with Mia Carpiniello and Maria Connor.
