Faculty Member, Doctor of Psychology Program Long Island University, Post Campus | Brookville, New York Long Island University, School of Health Professions, invites applications for two tenure-track positions in the Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.). The program is a fully APA-accredited, probationary (under appeal) Doctoral Program that follows the practitioner-scholar model with a unique dual theoretical orientation approach, offering both cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic approaches. The program is particularly interested in candidates with demonstrated expertise in psychodynamic psychotherapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and personality assessment. The successful candidate will actively contribute to department and university committees, develop an extramurally funded research program that engages students, and provide supervision for student practicum experiences. Applicants must hold a PhD, PsyD, or equivalent in psychology and possess a New York State license in psychology or be license-eligible in New York. Candidates should demonstrate a strong record of excellence in teaching and scholarly activity, including peer-reviewed publications and grant writing, and exhibit enthusiasm for advancing the academic, research, and clinical training components of the Psy.D. program.
