Chief Financial Officer

Build Health International (BHI) has appointed Viktoriya Kovalenko as its inaugural Chief Financial Officer, effective January 2026. Based in Massachusetts, BHI is a leading global health nonprofit that designs, builds, equips, and manages dignified, affordable, and high-quality healthcare infrastructure in resource-constrained environments around the world.

Kovalenko brings over 25 years of experience in accounting and finance across both the non-profit and for-profit sectors. Kovalenko most recently served as the Senior Director of Budget and Planning at Berklee College of Music, where she led Berklee’s annual operating and capital budgets, long-term financial planning forecasts, and the budget team. Prior to her time at Berklee, Kovalenko served as Vice President of Finance at the Russian School of Mathematics (RSM). She managed all aspects of the company’s finance and accounting departments and helped the School achieve 300 percent growth during her tenure. Prior to RSM, Kovalenko held several financial leadership roles at Bose Corporation.
