Vice President of Cedars-Sinai Cancer Cedars-Sinai Health System | Los Angeles, California We are pleased to announce the appointment of Cindy Chavira, MBA, as Vice President, Cancer and Senior VP of Operations and Clinical Care at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Ms. Chavira assumed her new role on May 1, 2025.Ms. Chavira has returned to Cedars-Sinai after having served as the Vice President of Service Lines at John Muir Health since 2023. Prior to that, Ms. Chavira spent nearly two decades at Cedars Sinai, most recently as Executive Director of Service Line Operations for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Department of Pediatrics. Prior roles include Executive Director of the Department of Medicine and the Executive Director of Operations for the Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute and Ambulatory Care Clinics, among other roles.Ms. Chavira earned an MBA from National University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from UCLA, and actively contributes to professional organizations including the Association of Cancer Executives, where she has served as Board President.Patricia Hastie led this search with Jasmine Miller and Sarah Sweeney.
