Sylvia & Leonard Marx Director of Collections and Exhibitions The Clark Art Institute | Williamstown, Massachusetts The Clark Art Institute has appointed Jane Braun to serve as its next Sylvia and Leonard Marx Director of Collections and Exhibitions; she will begin her work at the Clark in early 2026.Braun comes to the Clark from the Harvard Art Museums (Cambridge, Massachusetts), where she has worked for the past ten years and currently serves as Assistant Director for Exhibition and Collection Project Planning. During her tenure, she has also worked on the museum’s temporary exhibition program and its permanent collection galleries. Prior to joining the Harvard team, Braun served in curatorial and exhibition-related positions at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and the Museum of Modern Art, New York.Braun holds a master’s degree in art history from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in the history of art from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
