The Eugene McDermott Director Dallas Museum of Art | Dallas, Texas We congratulate the Dallas Museum of Art (DMA) on the appointment of Brian Ferriso as the next Eugene McDermott Director. Ferriso brings nearly three decades of leadership experience to the DMA, most recently serving as the Director of the Portland Art Museum (PAM) since 2006. At the PAM, he has led the museum through strategic expansion, capital growth, and renewed commitment to access and community engagement. He is currently overseeing PAM’s major expansion project, which opens to the public in November. He will join the DMA on December 1, 2025.Prior to joining the Portland Art Museum, Ferriso served as Director of the Philbrook Museum of Art in Tulsa, OK, from 2002 to 2006.
