Director Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University | East Lansing, Michigan We are pleased to announce that Michigan State University has selected Phillip Bahar to serve as the next Director of the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum, effective November 1. Bahar brings more than thirty years of leadership experience in museums and humanities institutions, where he developed civic, cultural, and university partnerships and community-focused initiatives. He comes to MSU after serving as president and executive director of Chicago Humanities, which presents nearly 100 performances and conversations annually featuring authors, artists, policy makers, and thinkers.Prior to Chicago Humanities, Bahar served as Chief of Operations at the Walker Art Center, a multidisciplinary contemporary arts center in Minneapolis.
