Sheth, MD, MSc, FIDSA, as Director of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Emory University School of Medicine, effective September 1, 2025.A current Professor of Medicine and Emory faculty member since 2011, Dr. Anandi Sheth has served as Interim Director of the Division of Infectious Diseases since March 2025. Dr. Sheth is a nationally recognized leader in HIV and women’s health, with a strong record of federal research funding, high-impact publications, and contributions to national and international clinical guidelines. She has held multiple leadership roles within the institution, including Director of Research Operations for the Grady Ponce de Leon Center, Associate Director of the Emory CFAR Clinical Core, and Associate Vice Chair for Faculty Development in the Department of Medicine.Dr. Sheth earned her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed her residency in internal medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She subsequently served as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention before completing her Infectious Diseases fellowship and Master of Science in Clinical Research at Emory.Natalie Leonhard and Randi Herrick led this search with Jasmine Miller and Kendra Moleé.
