Chief Financial Officer Georgetown Day School | Washington, District of Columbia We are pleased to announce the completion of our search for the Chief Financial Officer at Georgetown Day School (GDS). From a competitive, national pool, Danielle Bowen has been selected for this important role, effective July 1, 2026.Danielle has served as the Chief Financial Officer of Capitol Hill Day School since 2014, where she has taken on a broad range of responsibilities, overseeing school finances, human resources, facilities, health services, IT, administrative functions, and more. Active in the DMV independent school community, Danielle currently serves as the Treasurer and Secretary of the Association of Independent Schools of Maryland & DC (AIMS) and Association of Independent School of Greater Washington (AISGW) Multiple Employer Retirement Plan Board. Prior to her role at Capitol Hill Day School, she spent a decade in the private sector, working in management and analysis at IBM & RTI International. Danielle holds a BA in psychology from North Carolina State University and an MBA from Appalachian State University.Katie Rockman led this search with Elizabeth Weithman and Maria Connor.
