Vice President for Resource Development German Marshall Fund | Washington, District of Columbia We are pleased to announce the appointment of Miguel Vieira as the Vice President for Resource Development at the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF).Vieira comes to GMF with 15 years of experience in philanthropy and strategic partnerships at leading institutions including American University, the Aspen Institute, and the Brookings Institution, where he led the development team in the Foreign Policy program. He most recently served as senior director of strategic philanthropy at the World Wildlife Fund, where he worked with major donors to secure lasting conservation efforts in Colombia, Namibia, Nepal, and the US Great Plains.Vieira holds a master’s degree in international affairs from American University and a bachelor’s degree in history and political science from Rutgers University.Jack Gorman led this search with Kahn Lee, Grace Zakim, and Lisa Clayton.
