Lowe to serve as its next president, effective August 1, 2025. Dr. Lowe brings extensive leadership experience in higher education and deep dedication to Indigenous student success. Most recently, she served as Chair of the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), managing a federal agency with a $207 million annual budget and spearheading initiatives that significantly advanced Indigenous education and representation at the national level.With over two decades in senior administrative roles, Dr. Lowe has a distinguished history of enhancing Native and Indigenous student development, curriculum innovation, faculty and staff advancement, and building robust coalitions among educational institutions, Indigenous communities, and national organizations.
