Director Loyola Notre Dame Library | Baltimore, Maryland The Loyola / Notre Dame Library (LNDL) has named Alison Gregory as its new Library Director, effective January 26, 2026.Ms. Gregory joins LNDL from Marymount University where she served as the Dean of Libraries and Assistant Provost for Special Projects. Since 2018, she has led the visioning and strategic planning process for the library, secured donor pledges to support information literacy awards for faculty, and co-created an inclusive faculty talent recruitment policy for the university. Ms. Gregory has also served as the chair of the Virginia Independent College and University Library Association, a subset of the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia’s Virtual Library of Virginia consortium. She currently chairs the board of the College Library Director Mentoring Program and serves as the vice president for chapter development for the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. She previously served as Director of Library Services, Associate Dean, and Associate Professor at Lycoming College from 2013-2018. Gregory holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Lycoming College, a Master of Science in Library Science from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Science in Leadership and Management from Marymount University.
