Senior Program Officer

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Katie Pak as Senior Program Officer at the Neubauer Family Foundation.

Dr. Pak joins the Foundation from the School District of Philadelphia, where she served as Director of Leadership Professional Learning. In this role, she led the design and implementation of systemwide leadership development initiatives for school and district leaders, partnering across departments to strengthen leadership capacity and improve outcomes for students. An accomplished educational leader, researcher, and strategist, she brings deep expertise in leadership development, school improvement, continuous improvement, data-informed decision-making, and equity-centered systems change. Throughout her career, Dr. Pak has demonstrated a unique ability to bridge research and practice, translating evidence into actionable strategies that drive meaningful and sustainable improvement.

Dr. Pak's commitment to educational excellence is complemented by a distinguished record of scholarship and thought leadership. She earned her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership with Distinction from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a co-author of Critical Leadership Praxis and has published and presented extensively.

As Senior Program Officer, Dr. Pak will help advance the Neubauer Family Foundation’s mission by leading strategic investments and partnerships that expand educational opportunity and strengthen pathways to success for students and communities. She will work closely with grantees, education leaders, and community partners to cultivate innovative solutions, support organizational excellence, and further the Foundation’s commitment to transformational impact.
