After a rigorous and thoughtful process, the Board of Directors has appointed Graig Meyer as the organization’s next Executive Director.A trained social worker and longtime public-school advocate, Graig has focused his public service on helping families connect to the resources and opportunities they need to thrive. Throughout his legislative career, he has championed strong public education, access to health care, economic opportunity for working families, and policies that strengthen communities across the state.Meyer brings a deep commitment to advancing economic opportunity and racial equity, along with more than a decade of public service experience in the North Carolina General Assembly. His background as an educator, social worker, and advocate mirrors the values that guide the Justice Center’s work and position the organization for continued impact across the state.Graig holds a B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology from College of Wooster and a M.A. in Social Service Administration from University of Chicago.Read full announcement here.
