A seasoned development professional with over 26 years of experience, Sherryl brings a wealth of expertise and a deep passion for strengthening Jewish communal life through strategic fundraising and community engagement.Originally from Winnipeg, Canada, Sherryl began her career as a practicing attorney before transitioning into Jewish communal service. She served as Annual Campaign Director at the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County in Florida, where she led successful fundraising initiatives for nearly a decade. She later took on regional and national leadership roles, including Midwest Regional Director for the American Technion Society, Associate Vice President of Campaign for the Jewish United Fund of Chicago, and Associate Vice President for the Southeast Region of Birthright Israel Foundation in Boca Raton.Most recently, Sherryl served as Director of Advancement at Donna Klein Jewish Academy in Boca Raton, where she led a successful Capital Campaign—a project especially meaningful to her as both of her daughters are proud alumnae of the school.Sherryl’s appointment marks a significant step forward in the commitment to expanding the philanthropic reach and ensuring long-term sustainability for the vital programs and services provided at Rales Jewish Family Services.Rachel Ellenport led this search with Grace Zakim and Rebecca Lyons.
