Dean and Provost & CEO, SIU Medicine Southern Illinois University, School of Medicine | Springfield, Illinois We are pleased to announce that Southern Illinois University (SIU) has selected Dr. Ian Martin to serve as its next Dean and Provost of SIU School of Medicine and CEO of SIU Medicine, effective September 1.Currently the System Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine and Interim Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Dr. Martin brings extensive experience in academic medicine, faculty development, clinical operations, and health system leadership.
