Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management University of California, Merced | Merced, California We are pleased to announce that Scott Hagg has been named the University of California, Merced’s Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management, beginning August 12, 2024.Hagg currently serves as Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management at California State University, San Marcos (CSUSM). During his tenure, Hagg has established a successful record of setting and reaching enrollment goals that supported institutional priorities and strengthened academic and campus programs. As a proud Hispanic-serving Institution and one of the newest campuses in the California State University system, CSUSM has seen tremendous enrollment growth since Hagg’s arrival in 2013. Before arriving in San Marcos, he served for a decade in enrollment management at Humboldt State University. Hagg received his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The College of Wooster and his Master of Science in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University. He has served in local, statewide, and national leadership positions for professional organizations and community-based advocacy groups.Lindsay Gold led this search with Joseph Kralick and Julia Hochner.
