Senior Director of Development, Academic Programs

University of Rochester Medical Center has appointed Tracy Brunton as senior director of development, academic programs, effective July 28, 2025. As senior director, Brunton will guide regional individual fundraising efforts across the School of Medicine and Dentistry (SMD), School of Nursing (SON), and Eastman Institute for Oral Health (EIOH) and lead a team of two front-line gift officers. 

Brunton spent the first portion of her professional career as a nurse before transitioning into advancement. Brunton has been promoted into progressively responsible roles over the past seven years at Roswell Park Alliance Foundation and currently serves in an inaugural role as principal gift officer. In this role, Brunton leads philanthropic discussions with prospective donors and partners with physician scientists and hospital leadership to facilitate six- and seven-figure gifts and leads a team of gift officers. Prior to her tenure at Roswell Park, Tracy served as the director of advancement and alumni relations at Notre Dame High School in Elmira, New York.
