President Wesley Theological Seminary | Washington, District of Columbia We are pleased to announce that Wesley Theological Seminary has selected Dr. Carla Works to serve as its next President effective July 1, 2026. She has served as a member of the faculty of Wesley DC for seventeen years and is currently Dean and Woodrow and Mildred Miller Professor of Biblical Theology. Dr. Works will be the first woman to serve as President in the Seminary’s history. Dr. Works graduated from Williams Baptist College with a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies and received her Ph.D. from Princeton Theological Seminary. Read the full press release here.
