Alice Holland

Alice Holland, PhD joined Isaacson, Miller in 2022, bringing 17 years of distinguished cross-division teamwork in healthcare and higher education.

Prior to joining the firm, Alice was an Assistant Professor at The University of South Carolina Beaufort’s School of Nursing.

Preceding her faculty appointment, Alice served as student health center Director at Swarthmore College, Quinnipiac University, and The Pennsylvania State University Berks. In those roles, she led the evolution of student health centers from infirmary-based to holistic wellness models; increased the centers’ level of preventive care, educational initiatives, and national profile; and guided divisions through accreditation and re-accreditation. She began her career as a critical care registered nurse in a surgical intensive care unit at a Level I trauma center and as a school nurse. 

Her work as a board-certified nurse practitioner and as an educator informs her approach to healthcare and academic medicine. She serves as a board member of Zawadi Fund International, partnering with the Children & Youth Empowerment Centre in Kenya to create innovative models for program sustainability.
