She has worked on successful leadership searches for a variety of institutions, including Hamilton College, Lehigh University, Oberlin College & Conservatory, Punahou School, Sage Hill School, and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Berkley brings prior professional experience in higher education – both domestic and international – and PreK-12 education. Before joining IM, she served as an Assistant Director of Admission at Georgetown University, traveling to over 20 U.S. states, India, and the Middle East in her recruitment efforts. She also led Georgetown's network of 6,000+ domestic and international alumni interviewers, and continues this work on a volunteer basis as an Alumni Admissions Chair for the Boston Metro region. Earlier in her career, Berkley taught fifth grade with Teach for America in New York City, simultaneously earning a Master of Arts in Teaching. She previously completed a year-long Fulbright Fellowship in Bogotá, Colombia through the U.S. Department of State, with an emphasis on English Language Learners. She holds a Master’s degree in Higher Education from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and English, summa cum laude, from Georgetown University. In her spare time, Berkley co-chairs the Boston Board of Rescuing Leftover Cuisine, a national non-profit dedicated to reducing hunger through the prevention of food waste. Pronouns: she/her
