Since joining Isaacson, Miller in 2019, Carley has partnered on a range of executive searches across higher education, healthcare and academic medicine, and the nonprofit sector. She specializes in academic, functional, and clinical leadership searches, including roles such as academic deans, department chairs, chancellors, chief financial officers, chief human resources officers, and nonprofit executive leadership and board members. Carley is recognized for her commitment to delivering high-quality, personalized client service with exceptional attention to detail.

Representative higher education clients include Fresno State University, the University of California system (Berkeley, Davis, Los Angeles, San Diego, Santa Barbara, and the Office of the President), and the University of Washington. In the academic medicine space, Carley has partnered on searches for the Deans of the David Geffen School of Medicine and the Joe C. Wendl School of Nursing at UCLA; the Dean of the Keck School of Medicine at USC; the Vice Chancellor for Health Sciences at UC San Diego; and the Founding Deans of the School of Medicine and Medical Engineering and the School of Technology for Public Health at Arizona State University. Carley has also worked with nonprofit organizations such as the California Primary Care Association, Health Access California, the Inland Empire Health Plan Foundation, and Tides.

Before joining Isaacson, Miller, Carley served as Assistant Director of Employer Relations at Columbia University’s Center for Career Education and at The Posse Foundation, where she managed career and alumni programming for the national office in New York City. Earlier in her career, she worked in development at a PreK–12 independent school.
