Since joining Isaacson, Miller in 2012, Cati’s practice has focused on filling leadership roles within higher education, with a particular emphasis on president, provost, vice president, and dean searches for major public and private institutions. In addition to her work in higher education, Cati also conducts CEO and board searches for leading nonprofit institutions on the West Coast in conservation, education, health, and scientific research. She co-leads the firm’s Environment, Conservation, + Sustainability practice area. Over the course of more than 175 searches, Cati has developed extensive experience advising search committees and boards during times of leadership transition.Prior to her career in executive search, Cati founded and managed a national service program focused on improving access to and success in higher education for students from rural communities. She earned her B.A. in Sociology from Bowdoin College and her M.A. in Policy, Education, and Leadership Studies from the Stanford University Graduate School of Education.
