Claire Hennessey

Claire Hennessey joined Isaacson, Miller in 2019. Focusing largely on higher education and higher-education adjacent searches, Claire brings a deep commitment to increasing the representation of women and historically underrepresented leaders. Recent presidential searches include Hollins University, Lawrence University, and Randolph College. Other recent clients include Grinnell College, Oxford College of Emory University, Duke University, Duke Trinity College of Arts and Sciences, Bennington College, the John Templeton Foundation, Columbia Mailman School of Public Health, the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, The Wege Foundation, and the Folger Shakespeare Library.

Prior to joining the firm, Claire served Emory University for eight years, first as Director of Foundation Relations, then as Program Director for Strategic Planning in the Office of the Provost. Before Emory, Claire was a Senior Campaign Manager at Coxe Curry & Associates, a boutique fundraising consulting firm in Atlanta. Outside of Isaacson, Miller, Claire is active with several nonprofits that focus on reproductive health equity on both a local and national scale.
