Courtney Wilk-Mandel specializes in executive searches in higher education, arts and culture, and academic medicine. She serves as a West Coast leader in the firm’s Arts and Culture practice and is based in Los Angeles. Courtney has supported institutions in high-profile presidential and CEO searches such as Stanford University, UC Berkeley, University of Southern California, and the Hammer Museum. Her portfolio also includes searches for liberal arts college presidents, executive directors of symphonies and cultural institutions, and leadership roles in health sciences, including vice presidents of health affairs, deans of medicine, and chairs in clinical and basic sciences.

Known for her strategic insight, collaborative approach, and commitment to rigor, Courtney brings deep experience across sectors and serves as a trusted advisor to clients navigating leadership transitions. She fosters transparency and open dialogue throughout the search process and is dedicated to hiring practices that ensure broad access and opportunity for candidates from all backgrounds.

Before joining Isaacson, Miller, Courtney served as assistant director of undergraduate admissions at the University of Southern California.
