Jeff Kessner

Jeff joined Isaacson, Miller in 2014 and has recruited senior leaders for public and private higher education institutions, including presidents, provosts, deans, and chief student affairs officers. His clients include small liberal arts colleges, regional comprehensive institutions, and large research-intensive universities. He believes strongly in the transformative potential of higher education, especially for first-generation students, and has completed several searches for student success positions. In addition to his higher education practice, Jeff has recruited leaders for advocacy organizations, economic development agencies, research institutes, and associations. Jeff has spent his career in the mission-driven sector.

Prior to joining the firm, he worked at the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey where he developed organizational transformation strategies for the human resources and engineering departments. He also spent time as the research, training, and evaluation manager at a small business economic development nonprofit that helped create jobs and generate wealth in lower income communities.
