Julia Hochner

Managing Search Coordinator

Julia Hochner joined Isaacson, Miller in 2022 as a Search Coordinator and now serves as a Managing Search Coordinator. She has deep experience supporting leadership searches in higher education and across the civic sector.

In her role, Julia leads the coordination of multifaceted search processes, providing end-to-end project management and operational support. She works closely with clients and candidates, ensuring seamless execution at every stage, from scheduling and communications to due diligence and finalist engagement. She is collaborative and service-oriented in her work, building strong relationships while maintaining a high standard of precision, responsiveness, and organization. As a result, she is a trusted partner to both internal teams and external stakeholders. 

Julia currently serves as a Craft Liaison at the firm, leading efforts to support professional development, facilitate peer learning, and advance best practices across the coordinator group and the organization.

Prior to joining the firm, Julia worked as a Practice Assistant at Pathways to Learning, a provider of educational and behavioral assessment services. She previously worked as a professional actor, with a focus on theatre and voice-over work. She holds a BA in Drama from the University of Washington.
