Katheryne Martínez

Associate

Katheryne Martínez joined Isaacson, Miller in 2021, bringing a deep commitment to advancing educational access and equity. Before joining the firm, she worked with nonprofit organizations in Massachusetts and California, supporting first-generation, low-income students and their families through the college application process. Passionate about creating pathways to higher education, Katheryne partnered with universities nationwide to diversify student bodies while helping students minimize debt and achieve long-term success beyond graduation.

At Isaacson, Miller, Katheryne has contributed to executive searches across higher education and healthcare, partnering with leading institutions to identify transformative leaders. Her portfolio includes searches for deans, provosts, board members, and senior academic leaders at institutions such as Stanford University, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, New York University, and the University of California system. Through this work, she has helped mission-driven organizations recruit leaders who advance academic excellence and foster inclusive communities.

Katheryne earned dual BAs in History and Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and an M.Ed. in Education Policy and Management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
