Image Liz Braun Managing Associate CONTACT Liz Braun Liz Braun is a Managing Associate with a particular focus on leadership searches in our Higher Education practice. She has worked on presidential searches for a variety of institutions and organizations, including Colby-Sawyer College, RIT, Salem Academy and College, Academy of American Poets, and Berkeley Divinity School at Yale. She has also led and supported searches for functional leaders, provosts, and deans for a range of clients, including MIT, NYU, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, University of Pittsburgh, Mount Holyoke College, and Long Island University. Liz's approach to search is informed by her 25+ years of experience in higher education administration in student affairs, including serving as Dean of Students at Swarthmore College for eight years and Mount Holyoke College for seven years. She also held roles in residential life at Mount Holyoke College and Bowdoin College. Liz brings a unique perspective on the rewards and challenges for leaders as they navigate strategic planning and implementation; change management; launching new initiatives; and building high-performing teams. As a cultural anthropologist and certified executive coach, Liz is committed to building trust with organizations and developing a deep understanding of their unique story and culture. She then synthesizes that information to bring organizations to life for potential candidates.
